All Girls Cricket

2020/21 All-Girls Cricket Registrations

Are Now Open

Hampton is excited to be hopefully entering a team in the ISEC All-Girls Cricket Competition for the second time. We are also hopeful of having a 2nd team in the Master Blasters for the younger, less experienced girls.

The AGCC was established in 2013  to provide an opportunity for girls to play cricket with and against other girls. We are hoping to enter a team in the Under 13 competition which play games on Wednesday nights.

This is something we are really passionate about but for it to succeed we need players. So if you are keen to play, you will need to get all of your friends, sisters, daughters, nieces and cousins to sign up. At Hampton our junior program focuses on fun, development and participation – and the All-Girls team will be no exception.

Relevant dates: Will be announced as restrictions are eased, but we expect all of our junior programs – including All Girls Cricket – to start after Cup Week which will allow for full seasons

Please email to register your intent with your child’s name, date of birth and parents contact details or you can register here.

Cost will be $250 which will include all of your games, all of your equipment and a Hampton shirt (for new players) and cap

There is plenty of information specific to the All-Girls Competition on their website or you could check out this brilliant set of FAQs which should cover off everything you need to know

We will be conducting training sessions, but as games are on a Wednesday night you can still register and play U12 Rookies or Master Blasters if you wish, as they are both conducted on a Saturday morning.

Volunteers

We always need extra hands to help with the early days of your child’s cricket career. If you are keen to help out as a coach, team manager, scorer, bbq cook, drink waiter, pitch sweeper, stump inserter, witches hat distributer – or just a supporter – we are keen to have you along. We will gladly pay for you to do accreditation courses to help you, but also have a heap of talented people who are more than happy to offer advice and assistance. If you have an hour to spare, I strongly recommend you complete the introduction to cricket course. It is very informative and is all done online in your own time

Parents playing Senior Cricket

We have plenty of opportunities for parents to play senior cricket as well. We have 6 senior sides with games on Saturday or Sunday. Skill level is varied, and experience is not a pre-requisite so if you are keen to play on a regular or fill-in basis please contact Glenn Finkelde via email or on 0400130737. CSB also have a social womens competition – which will be perfect for any groups of mums who are looking for a social sporting activity. Let us know if this is something you might be interested in.
