All Girls Cricket

2017/18 All-Girls Cricket Registrations

Now Open

Hampton is excited to be entering a team in the ISEC All-Girls Cricket Competition for the second time. We are hopeful of having a 2nd team, either playing ahrd-ball or in the T20 Blast for the younger, less experienced girls.

The AGCC was established 5 years ago to provide an opportunity for girls to play cricket with and against other girls. We will be entering a team in the Under 13 competition which play games on Wednesday nights starting on October 11.

This something we are really passionate about – we will be utilising our two English imports as coaches – but for it to succeed we need players. So get all of your friends, sisters, daughters, nieces and cousins to sign up. At Hampton our junior program focuses on fun, development and participation – and the All-Girls team will be no exception.

Relevant dates:

  •  Wednesday 11 October 2017 – 13 December 2017 (5:00pm – 7:30pm)
  •  Wednesday 17 January 2018 – 14 February 2018 (5:00pm – 7:30pm) plus a potential 2 weeks of finals

Click here to register; ensuring that Hampton is the club you are enrolling for

Cost will be $140 which will include all of your games, all of your equipment and a Hampton shirt (for new players) and cap

If you have done Milo in2CRICKET or T20 Blast before you have a mycricket ID – we can help you out if you have forgotten the email you used.

Please email juniorshamptoncc@gmail.com  if you have any questions.

There is plenty of information specific to the All-Girls Competition on their website or you could check out this brilliant set of FAQs which should cover off everything you need to know

We will be conducting training sessions, but as games are on a Wednesday night you can still register and play U12 Rookies or T20Blast if you wish, as they are both conducted on a Saturday morning.

Volunteers

We always need extra hands to help with the early days of your child’s cricket career. If you are keen to help out as a coach, team manager, scorer, bbq cook, drink waiter, pitch sweeper, stump inserter, witches hat distributer – or just a supporter – we are keen to have you along. We will gladly pay for you to do accreditation courses to help you, but also have a heap of talented people who are more than happy to offer advice and assistance. If you have an hour to spare, I strongly recommend you complete the introduction to cricket course. It is very informative and is all done online in your own time

Parents playing Senior Cricket

We have plenty of opportunities for parents to play senior cricket as well. We have 6 senior sides with games on Saturday or Sunday. Skill level is varied, and experience is not a pre-requisite so if you are keen to play on a regular or fill-in basis please contact Glenn Finkelde via email or on 0400130737
