On the back of the strong growth in junior cricket at Hampton Cricket Club over the past 5 years and establishment of a Women’s team this season, The Melbourne Cricket Club have agreed to support Hampton for season 2025-2026 via access to quality coaching resources and support to help the growth and development of their female junior and senior players.
With tremendous growth as a club, Hampton have chosen to take a positive step towards ensuring its female program is more supported and educated, thus improving the standard of coaching and the enjoyment of their players at the club, leading to positive long term effects as a club. This also provides a pathway for Hampton female players into representative Junior teams with MCC and senior Premier cricket at MCC.

MCC is one of the premier cricket clubs in Australia and will be an important part in the growth and development of the HCC junior and senior program over the coming years.” Ben Kezilas, HCC’s Head of Cricket Operations, said.
