    • Massive congrats to Elijah Leske (in the middle!) who was voted last week's Hampton CC Junior player of the week - for his efforts against Bonbeach for u14C last week. Congrats Eli!

He scored 50* and then took a wicket - and will receive a $50 gift voucher from The Sandringham Hotel as a result. #sandringhamhotel 🏏
    • The results from last weekend are finally here. Our First XI ground out an amazing win against Carnegie, iced by a direct hit run out from Teg Phillips in the second last over of the day. Wins also from our Seconds and Thirds highlighted by strong bowling performances from spinners Ben Ridgeway and Liam Taylor and young seamer Lachie Bourke. Our 4s met an impressive top of the ladder Dingley who look to be the measuring stick this year.
    • Plenty of starts with the bat for our 1st and 2nd XIs as they commenced their two day games. 15 year old Will Jamieson’s 58 the stand out. A 5 wicket haul from James Hare in the thirds setup a strong win. Shifdy Smith continued his good form with the bat but it wasn’t enough for our 4th XI as they fell to Murrumbeena.

A strange day for cricket today….our Sunday Ones remain undefeated on the back of another great batting performance. Damien Garlick the star with the bat crafting 66. It was a day to forget for our Sunday Twos though as they were outclassed by Parkdale United.
    • It’s that time of year again! After a year in hiatus our annual Christmas Party returns to Boss James Reserve. Be sure to pop this one in the diary. 🎄 🎅
    • 5 from 6 this weekend for our Seniors. Highlights everywhere including an unbeaten 160 run partnership from Skipper Michael Fitzgerald and Teg Phillips in the Ones. Ethan Clark and Mick O’Brien fell just short of three figures in what would prove match winning knocks.

Youngster Dan Pickett continued his good run with the ball, while there were three wicket hauls for Russ Anderson, Freddie Smith, Jasraj Bhasin and Jaspreet Bhasin.

A fine all round 200th game from Mat Pearson in the seconds proved a welcome return. 💙💛
    • Congratulations to Rod Rae who plays his 200th game tomorrow for our Sunday First XI at Boss James Reserve.

Rod began his career at Hampton in 2011 and during that time has amassed over 4000 runs and taken nearly 250 wickets. He is a six time premiership player including one as captain of the Sunday Firsts in 2020/21. He has been captain of that side since.

He has contributed much to the Club off the field during his time at the Club including the role of Chairman of Selectors but tomorrow we celebrate his on field contribution.

Go well Rod. 💛💙
