A powerful right-hand bat and handy off-break bowler Ryan played at Hampton in the 2014/5 season.
Ryan scored Hampton’s highest ever individual score of 215 against Strathmore with Hampton making 389 in reply to Strathmore’s 179. Justin Ferguson shared a 151 run third wicket partnership with Ryan – Justin making 30 while Ryan slaughtered the Strathmore attack. Another Pom, opening bowler Joe Dawborn, took 6/43 in the same game. Ryan scored a total of 600 runs for the Club at an average of 37.
Ryan played 40 First Class games for Durham CC in County Cricket for 1336 runs at 24 with a top score of 99 against Hampshire. He completed a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Sunderland University.
Ryan is currently playing for Burnmoor in The Durham League. In the 2022 season he was leading run scorer with 1134 runs at 46 with 4 centuries. He has also taken 24 wickets with his offies.
