Punishing left hand opening bat and more than useful fast/medium bowler. Jack was a great character and popular member of the First X1.
Jack played in the 2017/18 season making 414 runs at 41 and took 14 wickets at 16. Highlights included an opening partnership of 224 – our second highest ever- with skipper Daniel Forbes against Chelsea and 155 with Jeremy Lawlor for the second wicket against Bentleigh.
Jack was recruited from Glamorgan CC in Wales where he played 16 first class games for 630 runs at 23. A knee injury forced his premature retirement from all forms of cricket in 2019 at the age of 24.
Jack is now Sports Coach and head of junior games at Cathedral School in Llandaff, Wales. He is also the coach of the Wales Under 14s cricket team.
