We might be in the depths of winter but there has been plenty going on off the field to ensure all is in readiness for Season 2021/22.

A number of appointments and reappointments have been made to the Senior Cricket Operations Team to guide our on field hopes for the year ahead.

Charlie Ross will step into the role of 1st XI Captain and we couldn’t be more excited. Charles is an extremely talented cricketer but also a nurturing and development focussed leader. So good to have him on board for his third year at the Club.

Matt Kenny will Coach the Club for a third straight year. Matt lives and breathes Hampton and pours his heart and soul into everything he does around the Club. His positive energy is infectious and will be invaluable for our young group.

Jonathan Carstens was hugely helpful last season in his role coordinating Thursday training and we are grateful for him taking on this role again for the coming year.

Rod Rae steps back into the Chairman of Selectors role he has performed with such passion previously. Great to have Rod in this capacity.

Craig Nott continues in his role as Recruitment Manager. Notty does some amazing work behind the scenes to ensure potential recruits know just how good a place Hampton is to be.

Russell Anderson is back as Academy Manager and this year will be supported by Justin Forbes. The Academy is an investment in the Senior players of the future and it couldn’t be run by two better individuals.

Congratulations and thank you to these blokes for all their hard work ahead of the season!
