Cricket is a fantastic way for our girls to connect, make new friends, grow, and have fun!

At Hampton, we have a range of programs from our AGCC girls’ teams (U12, U14, U16) to mixed cricket opportunities in SECA and our exciting Rookies and Master Blasters programs, there’s a place for every girl to get involved, learn and enjoy!

A Game for Everyone

Hampton is the perfect place to enjoy the game. Our girls’ teams offer a welcoming and supportive environment where players can build skills, gain confidence, and create lasting friendships. The thrill of a well-played shot, a game-changing wicket, or a post-match celebration with teammates is what makes cricket at Hampton so special.

For those just starting out, our Rookies and Master Blasters programs provide the perfect introduction to the game. With action-packed sessions focused on learning through play, young cricketers develop skills in a relaxed and fun setting. From perfecting a cover drive to mastering a throw, every session is designed to build confidence and love for the sport.

Why Girls’ Cricket Matters

Girls’ cricket isn’t just about competition—it’s about empowerment. Cricket teaches teamwork, resilience, and leadership, helping players develop valuable skills that extend beyond the field. Our AGCC teams provide a clear pathway for girls to progress in the sport, while our mixed cricket teams offer additional game time and experience.

Looking Ahead

The future of girls’ cricket at Hampton is bright. With amazing coaches, enthusiastic teammates, and a strong sense of community, we’re committed to ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to play, improve, and most importantly—have fun!

To continue the growth of our girls, Hampton are keen to have a women’s competition for the 2025/2026 season, offering our girls a further pathway to continue their cricketing journey. We will also look at expanding our girls teams to encompass further opportunities, such as an U18 team.

If you (i.e. a mum!) or someone you know is keen to play, there’s definitely a place for you at Hampton.
